CASE STUDIES

WHAT OUR CUSTOMERS SAY

Working with Vine & Vault is always a pleasure, nothing is too much of an issue

Together with Vine & Vault we were able to completely customise the design insertion. Carr has worked with them for years and know what to expect in terms of service, quality and outcome. The team at Vine & Vault advised on technical aspects, ensuring that the cellar is equipped with the engineering needed to hold the wine. It is a highly custom design process and through collaboration we are able to have an end product that fits seamlessly into our overall scheme.

Working with Vine & Vault is always a pleasure, nothing is too much of an issue. Not only do they provide us with guidance and expertise but also with real joinery samples. Materiality is a big factor in all Carr projects, and this helps with the selection process.

I cannot recommend Nigel and his team more strongly

Nigel Pemberton has, for well over a decade, been our ‘go-to man” for designing, conceiving, and building cellars and wine storage units of quality and distinction. Nigel and his team have helped create racking and temperature control facilities here at Armadale Cellars and our long association with him have seen many satisfied and excited customers extol his virtues in this area. One of our client’s fit-out has even been shown in national print as a showcase example of a personal cellar.  I cannot recommend Nigel and his team more strongly if you are serious about wine storage and cellar fit outs.

My cellar is secret, unique & individual to me

Vine & Vault have the ability to completely understand & acknowledge the design brief, delivering detail beyond expectations.

The highlights during the project was the collaboration of working together to create something that reflected my personality.  Seeing every step of it coming together – every moment was a moment of joy.  I love the wine box drawers, another hidden element.  It’s the quirky details that make it special.

Having a passion for wine, creating a cellar to reflect your lifestyle definitely enhances the entertaining experience of a home.  When I entertain it is for an extended length of time so the quality of wine, the joy of choosing bottles from my collection & sharing this with friends from my own cellar adds to that experience.

If I was asked to recommend Vine & Vault, I would say “use no one else’.

It just blows people away when they see our wine room

Vine and Vault exceeded our expectations with design. I now realise my own design was really quite “boring and impractical” compared to what we ended up with thanks to Nigel and Linda.

The highlights during the project were the options that were put forward to consider, the quality of the materials and the first-class workmanship. Nigel kept us informed all along the way and nothing was too much trouble.

In a relatively small apartment to have one room dedicated to a “Wine Room” not only gives us a great entertainment and relaxation zone but it just blows people away when they see it and enjoy a wine with us in it.

The wine room has definitely added value to our apartment, my guess at least $50,000 (not including the wine!).

In working with Vine & Vault, you can have absolute faith that you will get a quality outcome from great people to work with.

We gained an amazing wine room and 2 great new friends in Linda and Nigel!

There is a real love of sparkling wine in my house and the suggestion of a ‘champagne wall’ was spot on

Linda and Nigel were approached to design a solution within a given space during a 2 year renovation/build.  I had no real idea what I wanted but after a detailed onsite meeting, a clear plan was developed.   All the bottles are backlit with LED’ s which looks incredible.  I never expected to be able to store nearly 2000 bottles and yet that’s the end result.

The highlights during the project was the professional and reliable service.  The champagne wall without a doubt and the American Oak Bar table inside the cellar.

I have only just moved into the finished renovation so I haven’t had a real chance to enjoy it yet, but I can honestly say that all the guests we have had over, LOVE the cellar.  Enjoying a cheese platter and a nice red in the cellar have been the common wants of all friends and family.

I had an estate agent here just before the project was finished and he made special comment that buyers will love the wine cellar space.  Although not installed for the purpose to add value to the home, I am sure I would get the expense back plus some.

I already have recommended Vine & Vault!!  I tell people the truth, its an easy process, great service and a great end result.  To end up with a liveable space that stores all the wine far exceeded my expectations and I am sure the result would not have been the same if I had engaged another company.

I was surprised at how easy the process was and also at how reasonable the costs were to install the cellar.  Nigel and Linda are such lovely people and would do anything to make the experience an enjoyable one.  I cant speak highly enough of both of them and their company.

Beaut people to deal with who are very capable in their field

We were very happy with Vine & Vault’s design process. Having given them a brief outline of our thoughts they came up with suggestions and recommendations as to how best to turn the concept into reality, then put together the whole package that achieved everything we were hoping for.

Our project involved taking out a structural wall in our formal lounge which required engineering to create the space, so we were keen to see that evolve as it made the room look and feel very different.  Vine & Vault looked after the entire process from concept to completion, including securing the necessary permits; it was great to be able to just sit back and watch them bring it all together.

The wine cellar has completely changed the ambiance of the space from an unused formal lounge to a focal point of the home as you enter the front door.  We had hoped that it would add to our entertaining experience & it has well exceeded our expectations.  What we needed was an efficient and effective wine storage cabinet, but what we’ve ended up with is far more, the visual showcase is amazing and the room is now a lovely inviting space to gather with family and friends & enjoy the wine from our collection.

Vine & Vault are lovely people to deal with, communicative and responsive throughout the whole process, and the professional can-do attitude they brought to the job gave us every confidence about Nigel & the team’s expertise.

I would highly recommend Vine & Vault, with a finish & customisation that is off the chart!

In response to a “loose brief” for design, Vine & Vault provided a result that exceeded my expectations.  Even during the build phase the design was fluid enough to accommodate changes to benefit the space e.g. during installation a bespoke magnum rack was designed to fit into a particular spot of the cellar that wasn’t in the original concept.

The highlight for me during the project was getting to know the guys.  They were particularly patient with our young kids being around asking loads of questions, nothing seemed to bother them.  Their workmanship was amazing.

Having a wine cellar in our home enhances our living & entertaining.  It adds atmosphere to the room and invites the discussion of the wine, making it a feature of our home.  The cellar also provides for a nice quiet space to lock myself away to potter with my collection.

Nigel & Jack are particularly proud of their work and have a “nothing is too much to ask” attitude.

It was a very pleasant experience.

Extremely high quality service and finishing, with a team that are a pleasure to deal with.

The team at V&V have such great communication skills. They listened carefully to our needs and design ideas to ensure they could deliver on our design goals. The process was so easy, and we knew we could trust them from the get go. Seeing how the team at V&V bought our ideas to life was really exciting. Sometimes we found it hard to envisage how it would all come together, so their great detailed drawings and information during the process was greatly valued. When people visit and see our “hidden” wine cellar they are amazed. It’s such an unexpected gem that looks incredibly stylish and ties in with the design of our home seamlessly.   Without doubt it has added value to our home. Working with V&V was a wonderful experience, easy, seamless and the outcome has made us so happy. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them, in fact, we do often!
